Hi,

The 'Subcatchments Results' grid currently calculates statistics based on the 'total' flow per subcatchment. Is it possible to present the 'local' flow statistics for the same subcatchments?

I am trying to determine the Average Q, Median Q etc for each subcatchment, considering local flows only.

This question is specific to a Rafts Storm Injector couple.

Regards

Shaun

Hi Shaun,

Yes, it is something that would be useful but we haven't implemented it yet. This is partly because some of the models we support don't report local flows.

Would you like to see all the reports and analysis that we apply to total flows being available for local flows (including adopted TPs, temporal pattern analysis, box and whisker plots etc) or just a couple key metrics like average, median and standard deviation?

Chris

Hi Chris,

I'm just wondering has this been implemented yet?

I'm using v1.3.5 storm injector and there is an option (BETA) to process results using the local flow but storm injector crashes every time.

Just closing this one off - yes it should work but it can take a long time since it needs to analyse each local hydrograph to determine peaks, volumes etc as RAFTS does not report them in summary tables.

Hi all - to revive this one, is there yet any way to export rainfall excess hydrographs from RORB (i.e. local flows) while using Storm Injector?

Hi Reece,

Unfortunately, the RORB feature to export local flows is not available in the command line version of RORB that Storm Injector uses.

However, you can export rainfall excess hydrographs for subareas from Storm Injector via right click on the Storms Grid as shown below. I'm not sure if this is the same thing as RORB does or not?

Hello Chris,

I have a quick follow-up question. I noticed that the exported rainfall excess file lacks a header to identify the corresponding subcatchments, even though I have specified certain subcatchments in the RORB catchment configuration (.catg) file.

Is there a reliable reference to determine which column of data corresponds to each sub area? I assume the order of columns follows the subcatchment routing order.

Thank you very much.

Christine

Hi Christine,

Apologies, I somehow missed this question. The number in the Header corresponds to the Node column in the Project Setup panel.

Regards,

Chris
