Have any of you listened to the song 'Not As We' by Alanis Morissette? Whenever I listen to this song, I am reminded of the relationship between Ben and Dawn in Ordinary Sex Life. If sometimes I am really down I might get a little bit emotional too. Yeah yeah, I know, SHUT UP. I wanted to ask if am I the only weird one?

re: being the weird one

You do know that you're posting on a blog about SOL, right?

We congregate here to (mostly) discuss pornography, and do so prosaically, light heartedly, often even humorously; certainly without the manditory  _mea_culpae_ that our societies, most _isms_ and almost all religions seem to require. In fact most here are contributing significant time and interest to improving and fostering the production of more and better pornography, or at least disseminating information about which pornography is written most skillfully, and where to find it.

I'm used to being what Sarah Hoyt refers to as an "odd", having been a SF geek since back in the sixties, seventies and eighties when it was considered decidedly uncool. But this is definitely a couple of sigmas further out on the bell curve than that.

Dorthy, relax, you are not among the danes here.

AK,

Nah, doesn't do it for me. However, Chopin's Op. 9, written for Mme.
Pleyel, the piano maker's wife, and Op. 27, No. 2, do. Weird, I know.

Zine.

MR,

Minor nit pick, this is a discussion group, not a blog

How about telling those of us not familiar with either "Not as We" or "Ordinary Sex Life" what your talking about.

Those nits are spreading. Some werewolf scratched himself and got
them all over the Romantica thread, and now they're hopping on over
here!

Must have been a vampire with fleas. The last werewolf I saw was just coming out of the Petco grooming salon. He looked pretty clean, although through the window I saw a lot of blood and body parts ...

Anyone remember Nastassia Kinski in "Cat People"? *That's* a cat!
