I haven't been able to connect to SOL or FS since 01:30. I'd say SOL and FS are down, but I've been having issues with my laptop; therefore, is it SOL or is it me? [I hate to haul out that semi-colon 'cause I remember that always starts L O N G arguments in these precincts.]

The whole server farm is inaccessible.
I’m away so I can’t check personally, but remote access to the firewall isn’t available so the whole connection is down.
For now I have no idea what’s happening, but usually, these things get corrected an hour or two later.

There's some kind of network error when i hop onto the rogers cable/ cogent network in Ontario after rogers.jfk05.atlas.cogentco.com it just dies. It doesn't matter which type of connection I use and I have several options as providers at the moment. I even tried rerouting though BC but for some reason it still tries to bounce through that node.

same problem we were having a few days ago in Montreal on Rogers Cable back bone same part of their network is down and can't find an alternate hop to get me there.

Apparently rogers has been doing some kind of overhaul for the last 2 weeks on their network. Major outtages reported all over the place I can't get past 24.153.3.213 on my trace routes and thats a Rogers Cable IP

Well it's back up for me - seems that the issue was with Rogers as it's the next to last hop in the traceroute.

Yep. My Tracert gets to Toronto, then stops at 64.86.33.6, whoever that is.

Can someone post the URL for the monitoring site that can tell whether SOL is reachable or not? I had it at one time but can't find it now. TIA
