How come it is mentioned in the Authors Listing that there are 38 stories but only 21 featured?

If you are talking about the story counts on the Authors listing pages
I can think of a few possibilities.

1) You have the underage filter active and the other stories are
filtered by that (what I am guessing is the most likely)
2) The other stories are for premier members only
3) You have category exclusions active and they got triggered

I just checked the list for him

39 stories listed
zero as exclusive for premier members
4 as incomplete and inactive
17 with an character that is under 18 years of age
10 with no ages listed at all
6 as zoo or beast

I would guess you have an age restriction activated in either the Preferences or Settings or Exclusions area. At one time there was  default age restriction applied, but don't know if it still is or where it is if it is.
