Rachel Ross stories still being posted.

G'day All,

Today I noticed Rache's approved story custodian is still posting her stories 3 years after her passing. I only checked the four pen names I could remember, but located 50 stories posted during late 2012, 2013, and 2015.

Just mentioning it for those who enjoy her work. I suspect they're stories not previously posted, but not sure.

Yes, a T.S. Severe story just went up again a day or so ago. It's the name she used mostly for transgender/transexual stories.

 

I've been crazy busy with my mom in a nursing home and not feeling all that well myself this past week so my memory is a little fuzzy, but isn't April one of her anniversaries?  

 

I know her birthday is July 27th and that they stoped treatments for her cancer sometime in March of 2012, so it might be a memorial posting.

 

Anyway, all the stories going up since her passing were on SOL or ASSTR at one time.

 

Peter is supposed to edit and repost them all eventually, but the age limits on submissions on SOL means a lot of them won't ever be showing up there ever again.

 

There are still close to a hundred stories I'm aware of that are not yet up on SOL or her ASSTR website.

There have been efforts by other writers to complete rache's unfinished stories.  I have a couple of them in my SOL library.  I think both of them are about to be marked as abandoned.  I hope this one is the exception.

The ones I know of are T.S.Severe, rache, Rachel Ross, and God of Porn - but know she had many others as well.

What little of her stuff I read was not to my personal liking, so I've never read much of hers.

Same with me. I've never been into the 'school of shock' style of writing. And it seems like she had a different alias for each offensive type of story she told.

God of Porn was a catch-all name she added in 2012 when she decided to divy up the stories she was reposting on SOL between four names (several months after she took everything on SOL down).

 

IIRC her plan was to use God of Porn for porn (duh) without a lot of underlying message, Rachael Ross for the more literary stuff, rache for the most notorious and transgressive, and T.S. Severe for heavy LGBT content.

For a while she was posting some of her stories on SOL under the names
of the primary characters eg. Anne Russet for "Girl Fag", Samantha
Madeiros for "NIS: Pieces of Sam" etc.

I've been sort of busy since then, but the only new ones I'm aware of
on SOL are: The Secret Me, God of Porn and Amazing Zygote

I'm sure there are a dozen or so more obscure early ones I've missed,
and that there are a few she has simply omitted mentioning for one
reason or another (every girl deserves a few secrets, right?) but
she's hinted a few times that there is a major shocker she's yet to
own up to.

After reading this old post again, I have to kind of wonder if the missing "shocker" was Vulgus.

 

I remember her mentioning Vulgus in her posts here more than a few times over the years and she liked to name-drop her unrevealed pseudonyms. 

 

There doesn't seem to have been anything new from Vulgus since before she disappeared, and Vulgus used to post about a new story a month.

 

Vulgus was kind of notorious for pushing the boundaries so it would fit in with her philosophy, but I haven't yet looked the stories over checking for her tells.

gee, Golly, gosh, she had more pen names than some people have stories - thanks for the information. Let me know how you go with that research project.

Hmmm...I don't know if rache ever posted stories as "Pepsi Paloma" but I know she used that nick when she wanted to join the flame wars at NB's public forum. When she dropped Pepsi, it was like getting hit with a megaton of extra witty sarcasm.

Also posted recently was Futa Beach. Chimera and Ami Omigoshi are both rache pen names I recognize. Chimera = i m raChe and she liked leaving bread crumbs wherever she went. Chikan Dojo and Happy Tomato were posted to her Milk Bunny website, along with Futa Beach, under the Ami pen name, I just checked again and it looks like she (or someone else) removed about half the content since the last time I visited a few years ago.
