I wouldn't exactly say 'the old forum is dead'. It's always enjoyed brief bits of excitement, interspaced with extreme slow periods. For the most part, it's the core group that steps in whenever the site has been 'dead' for several days that launches a new, slightly controversial, conversation.
Part of the problem is that Lazeez said he'll likely trash any new content on the new forum, so most people are reluctant to start new discussions on the new forum, while also spending time looking for holes in the new site.
