So my question is... for those using argo workflow, tekton, airflow... or similar... as well as some git environment with cicd tools such as gitlab or GitHub... when does it make sense to have two different tools to run automatic jobs/workflows? why would someone want to have something like gitlabci + argo workflow? What do you think?
Kargo is the next step in the evolution of application delivery. It's purpose-built to make declarative application delivery pipelines easier and more intuitive - all while remaining faithful to established GitOps principles.
The initial collaboration between Flux and Argo (argo-flux) was a partnership between Argo, Intuit, and WeaveWorks. The project became known as the GitOps-Engine, a project now living in the Argo project org and being driven by Intuit, Red Hat, and GitLab.
