I'm reasonably technically adept, but brand new to music composition software, MIDI, VST instruments and so on. Recently I got my hands on Magix Music Maker, 64-bit, version 29. I do realise that this is a child's toy compared to most pro DAW tools, but still there are many features beyond my current skill level, so I feel no pressing need to upgrade to something that would be better documented for integration with Spitfire Labs.
Hi, I have another issue with Music maker and labs vst. I installed the vst patches in a D: drive and added their paths into Magix Music Maker. I can select for example the electric piano and it works fine. But when I save my project and reload it, Magic Music maker gives a fault message that it can't find labs, and then the music I recorded is back the sound of my Yamaha keyboard. So, Music Maker doesn't save the labs vst application change I've made to the track... Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?
I am experiencing the same issue as just using the program for first time since getting the movie maker.. The program just seems to not want to run properly and is very slow. Won't log into account. Not computer as I can go anywhere else and internet and browse if I want with program loaded no problems. Just the actual program itself runs like molasses. Can't do anything with it or try to create anything as super slow. Can press a key and wait forever for the program to respond. But nothing else is freezing/slowing down.
i recentley purchased magix music maker 2019 . after several attempts to install the software i gave up, it goes to the install screen then pauses straight away, i uninstalled my old edition of magix then tried again still the same results, trying to speak to someone at magix to get a refund is impossible every time i ring the number provided and press option 3 it cuts me off, I just want my money back now does any one know a way to do this
I'm a newbie and planning to try my hand at composing digital music that may be used for small Indie games. Been checking the free Magix Music Maker software and thinking of upgrading soon to Plus, Premium, or Steam version. But I would like to get my own mini MIDI Keyboard with pads first. I'm eyeing the two brands/models listed below. Does anybody know if any of these are compatible and works great with Magix Music Maker? Also, please feel free to recommend if you have any other product that you've tried which is better than these two:
IMHO you should go to a few music shops and try different keyboards before buying. You will find there is a vast difference between a good one , not necessarily expensive however more than the ones you have mentioned, and a cheap one, personally I would avoid getting a generic or economy keyboard - it is often a case of 'buy cheap - buy twice' and limited support in the case of issues with them.
The issue is when I record it slows the backing track down despite showing 120bpm. When I adjust it (as listed above it loses the mic. I've used a lot of music programs over the years but have never found one as un-user friendly as this! - It should not be complicated to connect a microphone!! - This is definately a software or software configuration issue.
Do you have an ASIO driver? If not, you can easily be having a latency problem. I believe so - the midi tracks were all recorded through this setting using my keyboard therefore yes the ASIO driver must be present. Again no its not a latency issue as, the mic has proven to work with other music software on the PC including MAGIX Sound Forge!!
I appreciate your points however I must say I have NEVER had such issues connecting a microphone before!! In my opinion this should be a straight forward process - MAGIX have managed it with sound forge so the same programming should be applied to MUSIC MAKER should it not? Any music program should be plug and play - not change 10 different settings to do what the program is ment to do? You are more patient than me, when I buy something I expect it to do what it's designed to without so many issues!
MAGIX Music Maker for Windows is an entry-level beat maker tool designed for beginners. It is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), which allows users to compose music using different instruments, plugins, loops, and effects. Users can even add vocal parts to their compositions without any difficulty. The software comes with drag-and-drop functions that help in easy maneuvering and editing. Earlier, Music Maker's free download was only available for a trial period. However, MAGIX DAW no longer has a trial period and can be used by everyone, for free! This software is available for Windows 11.
Unlike other advanced music editors, this beat maker download offers a unique combination of a premium interface with beginner-friendly functions. When creating music using this software, you get access to over 3 virtual instruments, 8 effects, 425 free sounds and loops, 4 new sound pools, and more. The software also offers a pro audio engine and MIDI editor, ensuring high-quality sound and easy editing.
The music that you find saved on the dashboard can easily be manipulated by adding effects or by changing the volume. You can even add your voice to the mix by recording your melodies using a microphone. The free beat making software also allows you to import any music file that you wish to include in your audio.
The beat making program is incredibly easy to use, which makes it popular with most beginners. It comes with various tools to help users learn the art of music editing and composing. Apart from the basic functionalities, the app has various other versions like Pro, Premium, and Music Maker Jam that users can upgrade to when they require more features. Advanced composers can use this software when ideas strike and use other premium music editors when creating the final version.
The original for making music - now completely free. Making music with Music Maker has always been surprizingly easy. And now it's even free! Produce bright party hymns, massive trap or heavy hip hop beats with Music Maker or with one of the popular editions.
Produce music with software instruments - every instrument has its own sound. Every sound has a different story and you get to decide how that story is told. Let yourself be carried away, be inspired by the exclusive instruments in Music Maker.
On the other hand, anyone looking for a serious music making and music production platform should look elsewhere. The lack of VST plugin support in the free version of Music Maker is one of the biggest deal breakers for advanced users, who should either take a look at Music Maker Premium Edition or check out some of the many other DAWs available on the market.
If interested in Music Maker, better save some money and purchase the next version up with VST support. I had purchased few years ago the Music Maker & Music Studio as a bundle. Great to start to get into music recording, but the new free version is far too limited for any use.
I have exported a single note scale on one track from Music Maker (from midi editor screen) as a midi file. When loading it into music maker an error message says "MIDI LOAD. Load failed :bad midifile: unexpected EOF" . Using Musescore 4 the system may then crash.
The midi file from this DAW reloads into the DAW ok and extension is shown as midi file in "properties". Midi files exported from my Yamaha keyboard load into both versions of Musescore without a hitch. Is there anything I can do to for musescare to accept a single track melody (no chords) midi file from my Magix Music Maker DAW. Thank you. TestMusicMakerMidiFile.mid
@steve-d9066 Whilst the musical items are bundled with Vegas Edit they are not actually Vegas products so support is provided on the Magix Community forum. Try going here with your Music Maker queries -forum/
Geetesh: PowerPoint, with its capable video export is one of the easiest ways to create videos for YouTube. But copyright free music to accompany such videos is always a challenge. Does Magix Music Maker Premium really create copyright-free audio tracks?
We spend a lot of time focusing on high end, complex DAWs but there are of course musicians who, for many possible reasons, want something more simple. At the introductory end of the Magix product family is Music Maker, a Windows-only package with a range of options depending on your needs. The base version is actually free to download and use, with the promise that it will receive the same fixes and updates as the paid version.
