Help, im not tech minded but I need to convert cccam lines to oscam. Apparently my stb was running oscam before I had these new cccam lines. I can just about remember how to put the lines into my vu but I definatley dont know how to change them to oscam and put them in. I dont mind paying if somebody can help me, I have team viewer. The more I watch tutorials the more confused I get, ive been trying for weeks. Any help please
There are only 4-5 values, which you just need to copy from the file "oscam.server", to the file "/etc/CCcam.cfg" :) but in a different format. A fifth value (key) is also required for the Newcamd protocol - Open atv 6.2 latest stable oscam . That's all.
where do I find oscam server. Ive got dreambox control center and I can find cccam.conf but thats it. I cant find any mention of oscam anywhere. Ive also got team viewer if anybody can help me. Thank you

Thanks it is done but i used cccam2oscam ver 1.2 .After convert I saved 2 format file.oscam.server &oscam.user and transfer to etc / tuxbox / config/oscam-emu and replace with old files .so its working correctly.

what can be the problem if everything just stops working with oscam? No problem with server. I have heard restart cam will make it work, sometimes you have to restart it several times. But its not working. From the beginning all works. But without making any changes in settings nothing works.
What exactly is meant by this - "everything just stops working with oscam" ? Oscam stop working ? Why ? Under what circumstances ? What exactly stops (oscam service, decoding ECMs, freezes Oscam, do you see any "oscam stopped" message in LiveLog via OscamWebif) ? Or what exactly ?
The oscam.conf and oscam.user files are two different and separated files. Usually oscam.conf + oscam.user + oscam.server files are required. In the attachment you will find a clean oscam-configuration without the advanced settings.
You can add a remote reader to the oscam.server file. This remote reader will basicaly connect to your cccam server. Oscam himself selects the reader that contains the necessary CAIDs to decode the satellite stream.
