Hello everyone,

This week on Thursday (26th) we have a very exciting event:

TIM HARE (former Director of Nuclear Policy for the Ministry of Defence who was heavily involved in the publication of the White report) and JOHN MCALLION (MP and MSP who strongly opposes Trident) are travelling to Aberdeen to have a debate on:
This House Believes There's No Need for Trident, looking at the need for a nuclear deterrent in the UK.
This debate starts at 7pm in the Old Senate Room and the dress code is smart (so that certain members have an excuse to dress up!). Since they're taking so much time out of their schedules, we'd ask that as many of you as possible come along, bring your friends and spread the word about it. It should be a very interesting debate and you'll get a chance to ask questions to the speakers!
