Hi Everyone!
I hope all of you have been enjoying the first few months of the semester and are getting back into the groove of things. I just wanted to send an email out to all of you letting you know of some events that we have coming up very soon that we would love for all of you to participate in.

*Tonight, Thurs Oct 9th, 8pm-10pm
*Nightlight Los Angeles is hosting a TREAD to observe, investigate, and pray for potential slavery spots in Los Angeles

---CALL AND RESPONSE---
*Tomorrow night (Friday, Oct 10th)
*Join Pepperdine IJM to a screening of CALL AND RESPONSE, a documentary with dozens of well known artists, political figures, and activists coming together to make a call for action to end slavery in the world today.
*Meet at Special Programs at 4pm, grab a bite to eat with the crew, and then go to the movie at 7:45pm (carpooling will be available)

---ANTI-TRAFFICKING TRAINING---
*Thursday, Oct 16, 8pm
*Nightlight will be holding an anti-trafficking training meeting which will review the basic facts about human trafficking and also give details on how you can identify trafficking
*THIS COURSE IS REQUIRED TO JOIN US FOR STREET TREADS
