Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am writing you in urgent request of your prayers for one of my family members. This last week, on Friday the 13th, my fourteen year old cousin Jared was walking in the countryside of northern California with his friends and was hit head on by a speeding truck. While all of the boys were hit, my cousin Jared was hit the hardest and immediately lost consciousness.
He is currently still in the hospital but has yet to regain consciousness and is suffering from severe head trauma and internal cerebral bleeding. He is truly on the verge of death.
As it is my cousin could die at any moment and needs the power of Christ to heal him and keep him from death. As we know from history and the Bible, if we call on Jesus Christ and have faith in Him, he will heal the sick. As the centurion said in Matthew 8, "Just say the word, and my servant will be healed".
Therefore, please pray right this moment that Jesus Christ heal my cousin Jared and keep him from death. He is fighting for his life even as you read this letter so please pray right this very second that the Lord may spare Jared's life and heal him. Pray that through his healing Jared may become a powerful testimony to the healing power of the Lord and the supreme awesomeness of his love for us. Please pray for comfort to my family, particularly my aunt and uncle that they may have faith in the Lord and comfort in this dark time.
Finally, I ask that you PLEASE forward this email to as many of our brothers and sisters in Christ as you can that as many prayers for Jared may go out. We are truly in a battle for his life but we have Christ and through him we know that Jared may live. Please help in anyway possible to see that as many people pray for Jared as they can.
Thank you so much for your faith and fellowship. Through Christ all things are possible so now, even in this dark time, may we all come together as the body of Christ and call upon his miraculous and divine power. May we have a pure, unwavering faith that we may believe what we pray.
