Update on Jared-- More Prayers Needed!!!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
First off I would like to once again thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love and support that has been shown in this difficult time. In this situation God has shown his power and love through all of you and your faithfulness to prayer for Jared is surely being attributed as faithfulness and worship to God as well. May we continue to follow in this path, maintaining constant communication with our Father for the healing of Jared.
I have good news to report to you all! Our faith and persistence in prayer are paying off and God is hearing our cries and is healing Jared! In answer to our prayers, the bleeding has stopped in Jared's brain and the swelling that accompanied that bleeding has also subsided! In addition to this, Jared's vital signs have finally returned to normal, showing that he is in a relatively steady state. Finally, though Jared still remains in a comma, he is showing signs of response, trying to wiggle his feet when told and also his fingers. These are amazingly positive signs and are allowing the doctors to now move on with "cautious optimism".
Though the situation today is much better than it was when I first contacted you, we need to continue in prayer for the healing of Jared. While he is showing positive signs, Jared continues to be in a comma and thus continues to be in an extremely delicate state. Jared's body is still hooked up to numerable machines which are conducting basic bodily functions (such as breathing) so that as much energy as possible can go towards the healing of Jared's brain. Furthermore, Jared continues to have an unknown fever which is weakening his body.
Therefore, I am asking of all of you to please continue in your prayers for Jared. Specifically we need to pray that Christ awake Jared from his comma, as this will dramatically increase his chances of survival. Furthermore, pray for God to continue to give his body strength, that God may heal Jared's fever and give comfort to Jared's body. In the war that we are currently waging for Jared's life, these are the two most important fronts.
In all the situations of healing within the New Testament, a healing was always accompanied by a statement of faith. When Christ would heal someone, he would state that it was their "faith" that had healed them. Therefore continue in your belief in the power of prayer to heal, for if we believe, it will be. Thank you once again on behalf of myself, Jared, and his family. May God continue to bless all of you and and may you continue to be shining lights of Christ's love.
