Recently there were several news articles on the Hoffman Report including torture allegations and the APA, Elizabeth Loftus, Bill Cosby and 35 Women on New York Magazine Cover and cultural denial over rape, Josh Duggar and TLC cancels '19 Kids and Counting', Jehovah's Witnesses failed to report 1,000 alleged perpetrators, a child sex abuse inquiry and Leon Brittan among leading Westminster figures named in documents, trial of pope's ex-diplomat accused of child porn and pedophilia and a UN official who failed to act on child sex abuse allegations resigns. Two child abuse conferences will be on the East Coast in a few weeks.

Josh Duggar, TLC cancels '19 Kids and Counting'

The Duggars’ TLC reality show ’19 Kids and Counting’ is officially canceled
The announcement ends weeks of speculation about the fate of the show after the Duggars’ oldest son, Josh, apologized in May for molesting multiple young girls, including some of his sisters, more than a decade ago, when he was a teenager.  Duggar, 27, also resigned from his job at the Family Research Council’s lobbying arm in D.C.

Jehovah's Witnesses

Jehovah's Witnesses failed to report 1,000 alleged perpetrators, child sex abuse royal commission hears   The Sydney hearing was told the church adopted a scriptural response to abuse, which it abhorred, and had files relating to 1,006 alleged perpetrators, dating back to 1950.
