Unions are endorsing the building of the power lines because it will
create jobs.

On another note -- Schumer is positive about wind power generation in
the upstate NY area.

This video is worth watching -- I suggest you stick with it until the
end, as the movie maker makes a sweep of the farmland with his camera
that is revealing. Some areas will get windmills and others
powerlines -- are we completely transforming our rural landscapes in a
blink of an eye?

The wind power issue is not unrelated to the NYRI plan.

NYRI claims its power line will help distribute wind power from these
new wind farms.
