Thus, anointing with the oil of catechumens is reserved for use in the period of the catechumenate and in the period of purification and enlightenment, and is not to be included in the purification rites on Holy Saturday or in the celebration of initiation at the Easter Vigil or at another time."
The Missale reminds the priest that before he says, This is the Lamb of God, he may make a brief remark to the neophytes about their first Communion and "about the preciousness of so great a mystery, which is the climax of initiation and the center of the Christian life" (EV, no. 64). In no. 65 the rubrics for the Easter Vigil indicate the desirability for the neophytes as well as all the faithful, if the diocesan Bishop consents, to receive Communion under both kinds.

Nightfall's original release date was December 21, 2021, but has now been pushed back. The new release date for Nightfall is now January 21, 2022, which was the original release date of Elden Ring. Mooney explains that the decision to delay the mod's release by a month is partly due to Elden Ring being delayed, but also due to the development team wanting to add more content to Nightfall and needing extra time. Barring any other changes to release dates, fans of director Hidetaka Miyazaki's games will still have a month to play Nightfall before Elden Ring launches.

The delays to Elden Ring and Dark Souls: Nightfall are disappointing but will hopefully be worth the wait. Nightfall's delay means fans won't now get an extra month between it and Elden Ring, but the extra time should result in the mod having more quality and quantity for players to enjoy in the month before the new game is finally released. After such a long time since any new SoulsBorne game has come out, fans have been excited that two things are releasing at once. Elden Ring won Most Anticipated Game for the second year in a row at The Game Awards 2021, and Dark Souls: Nightfall's release a month prior will perfectly bridge that gap.
