On popular demand, the last date of entry for one of the most coveted award programmes in the development sector - the India NGO Awards 2011 - has been extended to 29 February 2012.
Held in collaboration with The Rockefeller Foundation, the awards are a perfect opportunity for all those who have demonstrated best practice in creative resourcing, financial management, governance and impact in the community to be recognised and awarded for their contribution towards sustainable development.
Who should apply?
· NGO’s from across the country
· All the organisations registered in India as Trusts, Societies, and Section 25 companies.
Based on your annual budget you may send in the applications under:
· Small - annual budget less than Rs 1 crore
· Medium - annual budget between Rs 1 - 5 crores
· Large - annual budget over Rs 5 crores
Why should you apply?
· The three national winners in each category will receive a trophy and cash prize of Rs 4,00,000/- to be used to strengthen their internal systems and processes
· All regional finalists will be profiled in a casebook, which will be widely disseminated
· All applicants will be invited to participate in the Resource Alliance’s customised Workshops on resource mobilisation and related areas.
