3.25 lakhs prisoners are in 1,397 jails in India & 1.3 lakh are being incarcerated. To form a network & provide a platform for NGOs, individuals, donors working in the area of incarceration and to explore collective action to free undertrials through provision of information, advocacy and legal aid.
