Information about this event can be found on the new Stonewall Japan blog.

If there is anyone interested in helping me decorate it and set up it, please email me and I'll set you up as an administrator. Jon and Fiona....u guys interested?

I think this site can walk hand-in-hand with BRIX......The Brix PDF will be published to this group site as planned, and those of you who give permission to put your contributions ---articles, pics----on the web....would help make the site more interesting.

By the way, those of you who promised to submit an article----and those of you who just decided now----the deadline is next FRIDAY.....SEPT TWENTY SIXTH.
I haven't received anything as of yet, but i know you'll all come through......

With your submission, anonymous submissions ok, please tell me whether or not it is okay to put on the site.....Your permission is necessary because privacy is important. Same thing with asking the permission of people in the photos if it is okay to submit.

Okay, here is the site

Here is a cheap hotel where I stayed at last time I went to the Kansai
Rainbow Parade. It was in a pretty convenient location to get around
to clubs and what not.

I stayed there during the beginning of September 2008, for the
Stonewall event in Osaka and I can vouch for it being in a good
location. It is only a 5-10 minute walk from all clubs/bars of Doyama-
cho and is dirt cheap. Rooms are small and the area is less than
reputable (there was never any issue of crime or anything) but I
didn't really spend much time in it and it is also a 5-10 minute walk
from the center of the Umeda station.

They are also open 24 hrs, which is useful.

A place I often stay in Osaka is Hotel New Chuo. http://www.cheaphotel.jp/en/index.html
At 2,300 for a private room it's the best I've found. Downside is
it's not as close as Hotel Kansai to Doyama-cho, it's near JR Shin
Imamiya Station, but it's right next to Spa World!

Also 24 hrs.
