For those of you looking for something deep and soulful for entertainment, Stone Temple Coffeehouse, Quincy’s own official Boston Area Coffee House, is presenting a unique local folk concert with nationally known and recognized singer-songwriters, David Roth, and Johnsmith. David has a pure, smooth voice, unsurpassed instrumental ability, incredible humor, and heart-piercing, intelligent lyrics; and Johnsmith, who is making a rare New England appearance, is a talented singer songwriter who has a gift for writing deceptively simple songs, with his heart on his sleeve and his voice in control, that spring from a deep place in the soul. The duo will be performing on Saturday evening, March 5 at 8 pm (doors open at 7:30 pm) . Refreshments will be available. Admission is $20.
