Hello friends,
As a reminder to everyone, while at this time we are not requiring proof of vaccination, and are not requiring mask usage, COVID is definitely still out there.  Not only that, but we are now entering the traditional Flu season.
I'm thrilled that we've been able to hold indoor rehearsals this year, and want to do everything possible to make sure that we can continue doing so, and have an indoor holiday concert come December.
  • I HIGHLY recommend that we all get a Covid vaccine.
  • I HIGHLY recommend that we all get a Flu vaccine.
  • I HIGHLY recommend wearing a mask at rehearsal if it's reasonable to do so, especially if you are experiencing any sort of cough or have your own health risks.  (It's tough to mask up on a trombone... I get it.)
  • If you are experiencing coughing/sneezing/etc., I ask that you stay home and miss rehearsal that day.  I'd rather have an empty seat for a rehearsal than pass something around the whole orchestra.
  • There is always a bottle of hand sanitizer at the entrance to our rehearsal space.  Feel free to use it!
I Lysol the door handles/light switches/bathrooms before and after every rehearsal.  If anyone wants to use the wipes or spray can for any reason, please do.
These are the rules at this time.  It's entirely possible that new rules may be handed down by the state/town/church/etc as it's still an evolving situation.  If that happens, we will do everything we can to comply with the health rules we're given in order to keep our orchestra running.

Note:  I've been getting quite a few complaints from people telling me they aren't getting the Stone Soup emails.
I sent this to a newly-created list in a different way than usual.  I'll be asking about it on Wednesday to make sure everyone is on the new list.
