All –

 

I asked Rob to distribute this note to all of you because even though I have not been at rehearsals since SSS resumed in-person, I have been thinking of you all.

I have a lot of responsibilities at present that leave my free time limited (my job, the farm, and now my Dad living with us).

I also have chosen thus far NOT to be vaccinated.

 

Seeing Rob’s email and knowing that there are still many UNKNOWNS regarding COVID, it is likely wise that I remain away from in-person rehearsals for now, even when my schedule gets better.

I certainly do NOT want to be an introduction of stress to anyone or take the chance of adversely impacting anyone’s health, even if I wear a mask.

 

But what I DO want to say is this…..

 

All the members of this orchestra are phenomenal.

For all of my absences over the past 15 years, supporting Kimberly and then adding our farm to the mix, whenever I HAVE been able to rejoin and participate, the reception brings tears to my eyes.

Every time I have reappeared at a rehearsal, all of you have made me feel so welcome and have shared so many kind words.

I just want you all to know how special you are – to me and to each other.

This is one special group of people!!!

 

I hope to be able to join back in the fun soon!  I miss you and wish you all the best in making music together.
