Alright everybody here's the dealio,

Shaun has removed himself from the Google Group Membership. I emailed
him earlier asking what the problems were in addition to asking to be
Admin of the Stonereach Wiki. He did not reply, but made me and
Arkaris both Admins of the Wiki and now Arkaris and I are co-owners of
the Google Group.

I'd like to leave this topic open for everyone to give their feedback
from where to go from here, most especially Arkaris. Do we wish to
continue with Stonereach the way it has been run in the past 2 games?
Do we want to continue playing Stonereach? Do we want to keep the
same houserules for Stonereach that we have been playing with? Is
Arkaris willing to be the sole DM, or are there people that would like
to be co-DMs? Etc. Etc.

Please respond and give some feedback on where you want to go from
here.

Sincerely,
Bill

Well as I mentioned before in my intro post, I like the set up of
Stonereach and the flexibility of scheduling an expidition and not
being required to go on every outing. I also like the concept of
exploration and how the characters actions (or in-actions) have a
rather direct effect on Stonereach itself. To me it gives my
character a sense of real purpose. So for me I say Yes to continuing
with Stonereach. As far as the house rules, I'm flexible with
whatever the DM sees fit (within reason). My DM experience is nill,
so I don't think I would be a candidate as a co-DM at this time.

I too like the flexibiltiy of Stonereach. I would be willing to play
another game or keep this one going. As far as the rules. I am fine
with however the game is run.

Just as a heads up I will be leaving on Friday afternoon and will not
have internet access until Sunday. I will report back on Sunday.

I am currently fine with running the Stonereach idea and have several
multi-part campaigns in mind to continue and develop this game. I am
more than happy to have a second player join me in running this
world. Anyone who wishes to join me as co-DMs, we will both have to
pass off on storylines and developing the game. I will continue with
the goblin march on Stonereach as Shaun started. So everyone can
expect adventures to discover the spring and back down to the forest
to deal with the necro goblins. If anyone wishes to co-DM please feel
free I will not hamper anyone, but we will need to agree on plot line
so we do not build Stonereach into an empire in 3 games. Let's keep
it very scaled down. I will probably award XP heavily until
characters get to 3rd or 4th level, then it will be a grind.

I would actually rather turn the game over to E6 rules honestly, but I
will not do that unless the vast majority of the group likes the
concept. E6 rules can be found here

Agreed I am glad it isn't going to end all of a sudden. I think Shaun
will return at some point, I just feel that he may have some issues
outside of us that is causing him to do these actions. I however do
not wish this to turn into an E6 game, i understand the premiss, but I
think it could limit the openess of the game.

As I said when Shaun asked, I would be willing to Co-DM. I would be
available more often and hopefully accommodate smaller groups and
outings.

I am excited for the chance to continue this as well. Thankfully I
got a lot of time away from the internet (where I work) so I can work
on this without wondering off to other things. My future brother-in-
law (who hhhhaaaatttteeeesssss mmmmmmyyyyy ggggggguuuuutttttttssss)
has access so I can get on and post this.

I have updated the wiki with the main buildings of Stonereach. If
there are any requests for specific buildings or anything you all can
think of to add, please let me know here and I can make the addittion
if the town would have the building.

Are there any palisades, guard towers, or any other type of
fortifications? Aside from the Inn/Tavern, are there any other place
for people/adventurers/guests to stay?

Also, have you given any thought to my offer to assist you in DMing?

Well according to what Shaun told me. The town of Stonereach is
surrounded by a large stone wall taken from the surrounding hills.

Yes there are large stone walls/fortifications/gatehouses, I did not
think of those as being "places of interest" but I will do a write up
on them and post them later tonight.

Hey all,

Are there plans in the works for doing up a "map" of Stonereach and
the surrounding area? I understand that being a DM can take up alot
of extra time, preparing for adventures and all, but a map would be
really cool. In fact I will volunteer my time to make a nice looking
map to post. I own a copy of "Dunjinni" maping program. All I would
need is for one of the DM's to provide a sketch and some landmarks
with distances (for scaling purposes) and I can start working on
something for the group.

P.S. I should be available to play on Tuesday in the evening.

I really have no idea what the world looks like. Other than the very
brief descriptions Shaun left us with. It will take me a great deal
of time to come up with an actual mental image of what the world
actually looks like. A lot of the world you all will be exploring
will be collected from out of date maps, so really anything other than
the foothills to the north, and the short venture in to the western
side of the forest, nothing else is really known for sure.
