The suggestion being that I would run an earlier game on the same day,
maybe noon CST to kick off as I believe the other game starts at 6
CST. Players would have to choose one game or the other and this
would hopefully give us two bite sized groups - and maybe even enable
Arkaris to play if he is up for it. I am an experienced DM, though
unfamiliar with OpenRPG and I think as long as people are prepared to
help me out with technicalities here and there it would work out
well. Of course it has to be run before as I fully intend to play,
lol.
Adventure:
Two local children have gone missing while tending their flock of
goats in the pastures just to the south of Stonereach. The other goat
herds, and their peers, have been claiming for days to have caught
sight of a "funny little green man" watching them, but their stories
were dismissed as tall tales - until now. The children's father went
into the woods after them and was found hours later torn to shreds as
if by wild beasts, the Mayor has called for brave men to save the
children or at least to end the threat that claimed them.
Thoughts? I don't want to tread on any toes, etc., so I definitely
want approval from Arkaris. And my apologies if I am going about this
through the wrong channel.
I would not be able to play in the morning on Saturday, but I am sure
others would love to.
Stonereach is litterally built on stone and out of stone, very little
wood exists in the town and any spare wood is drying up since the
Forest is closed off. The main source of food for the city is
actually imported from the north. There is one large supply once a
month and a few small shipments between.
I would honestly like you to play a few more games and get a feel for
the city I am attempting to create before stepping up, but definately
do encourage it as I would like to be able to have the players advance
the story line for resources faster than a game or two a week. I know
Jared is wanting to run a game, we discussed it lightly last night and
I hope he does attempt to get something going.
