At school we teach using a combination of the Stonefields progressions and also the NZ Numeracy Project. If you're looking for some great activities that will work well at home, it's well worth having a look at their site:
This site has lots of ideas that are designed to be carried out at home. They provide all the printable materials that you'll need and list anything else that's required (dice, counters etc)... remember that if you don't have the specific materials they list, you can probably substitute them for something else (eg. instead of counters, you can use iceblock sticks that you get from the supermarket or $2 shop).
