Importing Purchase Orders?

We don't need to do this but once a year, but I was trying to find out how to import a purchase order from a spreadsheet / csv / etc. I didn't find anything. It seems like the kind of functionality that would and could easily exist, so I thought I'd ask if anybody knew how to do that even just manually by editing SQL tables?

It will create inventory items for you as well if they don't exist.
