Random Keystroke Lockout

Anyone else have an issue where randomly, OM won't register keystrokes?  Like right now, I'm trying to find an order, and when I go to search by email, the cursor shows up in the text box, but nothing happens if I type.  Sometimes closing the form and reopening it helps, sometimes I need to close the program down all together.  I've had this happen on the shipping form, order entry, edit item (on orders and inventory).  There seems to be no rhyme or reason to when this occurs and what will actually clear it up.
