This is a bit off topic but

How did everyone handle the measuring of all their products to get set up for dimensional weight shipping? We've been using DHL and they don't do that but want to migrate more items to First Class and USPS and maybe UPS/Fedex.

We have 15k skus of bottles/cans/tubes/jars of all sorts of shapes and sizes.  We use bubble mailers mostly to ship.

Any tips or resources? TIA

Cathy

I wrote a complex algorithm specifically for our products, but it's very messy.

Dimension weight should not matter for First Class and Priority Mail under a cubic foot unless you're trying to use Commercial Plus Cubic.

These guys make a hardware solution that will allow you to rapidly dimension your products:  https://cubiscan.com/  You can throw your products in, and it will scan it, weight it, and spit out a CSV file with the data that you can then upload into Stone Edge.

You can rent them.  In your case, rent it for a month or two, hire a temp worker, scan your 15k products then send it back.
