Hello Everyone,

I recently updated my personal laptop to MS Office 2016 64-Bit. I was previously running 2013 32-Bit, but I decided to upgrade since it was going to be free for me. I also wanted to go with the 64bit version since I work with large spreadsheets that use tons of CPU and RAM.

Now that I have upgraded to the 64-bit, I am no longer able to open Stone Edge (currently 7.027). Any ideas on how I would be able to get it to run?

I know there are other programs out there like the Altaireon software(s) that run 64-bit and are able to connect to the 32-bit database. I am hoping that there is some kind of solution out there. I am not willing to go back to a 32-bit version of office just for Stone Edge.

Best,
Zia

Ahh, thanks for your help. I guess I have no other options.

You might be able to keep your 64 bit Excel, and just re-install the 32 bit Access. I'm not sure, but it that is possible, you might get the best of both worlds that way.

Unfortunately it is not letting me install the 32-bit version of access because it wants me to uninstall all of my 64-bit office products first. I guess I can't have the best of both worlds.
