UPS tracking link URL change? How to update in Order Status System?

Hey OM folks.

The UPS tracking link prefix we had been using (http://wwwapps.ups.com/ietracking/tracking.cgi?tracknum=) seems to no longer work. 

We have had complaints from customers using the order status system, as well as those receiving ship notification emails.

I found a different tracking prefix url that does seem to work now: (http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processInputRequest?TypeOfInquiryNumber=T&InquiryNumber1=)

We have changed the TrackingUPSPrefix parameter in SEOM for emails.    However, I do not see how to make this update in the SE order status system.  Is this something that Stone Edge will need to do for us?

Hi Chris,

We will need to change something on our side for the Order Status System.  It should be something pretty easy.

As far as the link goes we have been telling people to use: https://www.ups.com/track?loc=en_US&tracknum=

The parameter you changed is actually no longer used in some versions of Stone Edge.  You would want to update the Prefix under:
Settings>Shipping Functions>Shipping Setup>Page 2 of 4>Carriers and Their Shipping Methods.  Then select UPS and look towards the bottom of the screen and update the Prefix.

Great, thanks!  As you suggest, we'll also use (https://www.ups.com/track?loc=en_US&tracknum=) for emails.

When would this be done for status customers? 

Essentially the order status system is broken until this change is made.
