Hi Rhonda Leopold,

 

Congratulations on scheduling your Shopping Night! Your school is all set to earn 5% of your local fresh&easy store’s sales!  This donation is on top of the $1 your school will receive for every $20 receipt you collect through Shop for Schools from Sept. 12 to Dec. 31. We’ve included the below info to help you plan your upcoming fundraising event.

 

Date: 11/26/2012

 

Time: 4:00pm to 8:00pm

 

Where: fresh&easy store at 19671 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward

 

Please Remember:

 

• Five Mandatory Volunteers
• Arrive to the store at 3:45pm with five adult volunteers from your school (teachers, school administrators and/or parents) who will be helping out during the event. 
• You must have five volunteers present at all times during your Shopping Night to be eligible to receive the donation. 
• You might want to schedule volunteers from your school in shifts: one 4:00-6:00pm and the other 6:00-8:00pm, for example.
• Rescheduling or Canceling
• Please make sure to let us know at least two weeks before your event if you need to reschedule or cancel. 
• We will be unable to reschedule your event for any reason less than two weeks out due to the high demand for Shopping Night dates.
• Promoting
• Approximately two weeks before your Shopping Night you will receive a kit from us with materials to help you promote it. 
• Questions
• If you have questions about your Shopping Night event, feel free to contact your Shop for Schools Regional Coordinator, Danine Samide at 424-207-8125.

Within two weeks after your event, we’ll email you to let you know how much money your school raised.  In the meantime, make sure to “Like” us on Facebook to get tips on how to earn as much as possible during your school’s Shopping Night at facebook.com/shopforschools.
