Thankyou i will but i'm not sure what to do as the advise given was followed and made no diffirence. Unless i misunderstood what was said. I merely hoped someone here had perhaps had a similar thing happen to them and could help.
You should send in a Help Ticket from your in-game account. Advisors need mobile players to do this because in-game mobile tickets bring through needed details. Contacting by any other method will only delay support and you'll be asked to go back and send in an in-game help ticket. Also worth noting that sending in help tickets from the mobile in-game account ensures the tickets go through to the mobile advisors directly who'll be far more informed.
The Sims Mobile is a life simulation game based on The Sims 4 for Android and iOS, published by Electronic Arts and initially developed by Maxis.[1] It was announced on May 9, 2017, and was released on March 6, 2018.[2][3] It features a multiplayer component and includes story elements.[4][5]
On January 29, 2024, EA announced that The Sims Mobile would no longer receive new events or content updates, but instead receive re-runs of past updates and events, and the online servers will remain active.[6]
In The Sims Mobile, players are able to create unique Sims with the in-game character creator (Create-a-Sim), build houses, start families and control the lives of their Sims.[7] The game introduces multiplayer elements, as players can 'interact with other players' Sims by attending their parties, tapping on an NPC (non-playable character), or rating their Sims as through a sticker system.[3]
Similarly to previous mobile games in The Sims franchise, energy is used when players take actions with their Sims. Energy can be restored through SimCash, which is earned through in-game quests and micro-transactions. SimCash can also be used to purchase certain premium clothing and furniture options in the game.[8]
Unlike its predecessor The Sims FreePlay, The Sims Mobile offers a closer experience to the PC series of games. There is a focus on telling stories through Sim's actions, chosen by the player as their Sims go through their career or make relationships. As Sims play through these stories, they are able to level up and unlock new cutscenes. Advancing stories may also unlock new furniture or clothing items.[9]
On May 9, 2017, the game was available for testing on the App Store and Google Play in Brazil.[10][11] On March 6, 2018, The Sims Mobile was launched worldwide,[3] but Hong Kong, Mainland China and other parts of Asia were not open for download.[12]
Common Sense Media gave the game 3/5 stars, describing it as an "Energy-based life sim" that is "progress purchase-dependent".[16] The Verge praised the game, declaring: "Maxis has successfully pared down a very full series into an accessible, easy-to-play game for your commute or bedtime routine".[17] Kotaku complimented the timer and energy meters and praised the relationship mechanic.[18] Shacknews criticized the timers and the micro-transactions, saying : "As it stands, unless you're really jonesing for a Sims fix while on the go, there isn't much of a reason to let The Sims Mobile insult you by peppering you with its seemingly endless barrage of microtransactions".[19]
Upon its release, The Sims Mobile topped the App Store.[20] During its four months release, The Sims Mobile generated a total of US$15 million.[21][22] As of July 2018, the game generated between US$20 million and US$25 million.[23][24]
The Sims franchise has always held a special place in my heart, and I try to review every game and DLC I can. So when EA announced The Sims Mobile game for iOS and Android, I was both excited and very skeptical. The idea of taking the Sims with me was a dream I have had since phone games started evolving, but with freemium games becoming the norm I did not have the highest expectations for The Sims Mobile, luckily I was wrong.
The Sims Mobile starts off with the Create-A-Sim mode for your first Sim. I had no idea they could create such a robust character creator on a phone. I was able to create and fine tune my Sim to my liking. Although the selection amount was nowhere near the options as The Sims 4, the mobile creator was beyond anything I have seen on a phone or tablet and really set the bar for what was to come. Many accessories, clothes, and makeup options are locked in the beginning, but the entirety of face and body options using presets are available. You may not have the pieces to create the perfect Sim, but you can build the foundation for unlocking things as you play. The only thing I would say I was disappointed in was that it was hard to make an older or more mature looking Sim, as any Sim I made ended up looking pretty young.
After a short tutorial on how to play and what to do, I was able to really start enjoying the game. There are to-do lists everyday in real-time to give you things to do for rewards and quests to work on. For the most part both the quests and to-do lists work together or off of each other so you always feel like you are making progress. I quickly found myself doing my to-do list when I woke up each morning and slowly working on quests throughout the day. That is where The Sims Mobile really shines, as you can play as little or as much as you want and still progress.
There are many things to do in The Sims mobile and the beautiful thing is you can be as hands-on or hands-off as you want. There are jobs to make money (and new ones unlock as you play), parties, hobbies, and social events. Doing all of these have important rewards which make them feel like they are worth putting in the effort. The more you do your job, the more money you can make. Friendships and relationships happen through social events, and hobbies allow you to level up things like cooking and playing guitar. As you do these things, you can click different interactions and objects to quickly finish the event, or you can just let your Sim do it on their own in a set amount of time. One complaint is how long it takes your Sim to do anything on their own compared to helping them. I was able to complete most events within a couple minutes, but if i just told them to do it and turned off the app it might take one to multiple hours for them to finish. Although I feel like there should be a little less time when they do it on their own, I also found that I appreciated this system. It allowed me to do any events in the game and shut the app off to do things in the real world while still making progress. I found myself logging in when I had a chance, playing for a bit and than sending my Sim to work to make money while I turned off the app and did something else.
The Sims Mobile also works very well from a technical aspect. The game runs smoothly and I did not have any framerate issues and slowdowns. The loading screens are fast and overall it runs smooth. My colleague, Kay Purcell, did run into a couple issues on her Android device however. She had her screen break out in error stripes and it made a shrieking noise that required a hard reset to fix. With that said, it only happened a couple times and has been working fine other than that. I have been playing on iOS and have not had any problems other than the fact that prolonged play will kill your battery faster than a lot of other games.
Growing up in a small Colorado town, Bryan has always had plenty of time to play games. PC is his first choice of tech followed by the PS4. Graduating at 16 Bryan knew he wanted to be a writer and wanted to combine his love of games into that and found Gaming Trend in 2012 where he quickly became a member and started writing for them as soon as he could. He is still at Gaming Trend, but now has 2 kids, a puppy, and a lot less time to play the games he loves, but he always finds a way to get back into gaming.
The Sims Mobile is an addictive and fun game that you can play as much or as little as you want while still making money and progress. Whether I had half an hour or a couple minutes, I was always able to send my Sim to do something productive, which allowed me to make great progress throughout the day. The game runs fantastic and I have very few complaints about this great entry in The Sims franchise.

This set the tone for my time with The Sims Mobile. It's got potential, I'll give it that. It's a decent mobile adaptation of the beloved sandbox players love to interact with, mod, and spend hours customizing their characters in. The thing is, it could be far less frustrating. But the route EA chose had to be the most penny-pinching, cash grab-laden iteration possible, and for that I am deeply disappointed. I'm not surprised, mind you, but I am disappointed nevertheless.
The Sims Mobile starts out innocently enough. You can create your own Sim to start out, customize him or her to your liking, and get to work customizing your home. Much of the beginning actions of the game are similar to that which you'd see in the full version of the game as you get your sea legs, so to speak. You've got your home, which is a "fixer-upper" of the highest caliber, and a wide world ahead of you. You can jump right in and start interacting with the world with little fanfare if you want, but you'll need to know what to do first.
There's a tutorial you need to finish before you're let loose on the world after you spend some time with the surprisingly robust character creator. It's a decent beginning sequence that finds you interacting with a Sim named Bella, who welcomes you to town and shows you around a bit. It's fairly standard at first, but the game quickly opens up to more complicated matters.
It's a good thing the tutorial is there, because the game can be quite confusing at first. There are multiple kinds of currency, for example, multiple types of furniture, "career" stories, "relationship" stories, and tons of other intricate systems that you need to uncover to really get the most out of the game. The tutorial could have used a little meatier content beyond what was there, but it helped me get up to speed quickly enough.
