Please cancel my recent subscription,  Logging-in to this site after several months, I saw new images added to the list of "images" that matched my serial number that I could not access like I could before with a false-lead that you provided.
I decided to buy the listed 1-month option and paid via pay-pal only to find you would charge me on a monthly basis.Maybe I read this wrong but I feel that this is misleading. Who needs an annual subscription to a service like this?
In addition to that, the links that I now had access to were bogus!!!! not one led to anything relevant at all.
The "hits" were only links to Google groups and Google news.
Maybe I am getting something wrong here and if so, please explain, but stolen camera finder is looking like a scam to me.

Hi Dave,
I see that you only signed up for the service 2 days ago. I will happily cancel your account and refund your payment if you are not happy.

I understand why you are suspicious (you're not the first) because the service is pretty amazing if I do say so myself ;) but I can assure you it is not a scam. The reason you think those links are "bogus" is because they are links to your own avatar. That is the sepia picture of the little girl you have as your profile picture. Our web crawlers have seen this on various google pages which may be dynamically generated so the profile picture may not be there every day. For example, if you have the chrome plugin installed, it will find your avatar at the top of Google News, but if I visit Google News, it Google will display my avatar in the corner instead.

Hopefully you will realise that this actually proves it works, since it found your avatar on various Google site, including youtube, despite the image having undergone heavy post-processing.

It is not my intention to mislead anyone, it clearly says it is a subscription. The point is that I have thousands of web-crawlers constantly trying to find your cameras which cost me quite a lot of money. I charge a subscription fee so that I can cover that cost and send you email alerts if/when I find your camera.

Regards,
Matt
