Dear Cyclist,

I am looking for feedback on our anti-theft device.  It's a bike computer that is always with your bike.  It attaches under the water bottle cage with special hardware so it cannot be removed.  If someone attempts to take your bike, they are greeted with an audible alarm and the bike owner gets a text message with a warning message.  If they do take the bike you can locate them using the device's GPS and our phone App.  Our web site is www.wi-mm.com.  The product is not released but your feedback would be helpful.

Thank you,

Kevin Fahrner

What about also notifying the police of a robbery in progress?
I'm curious about the device itself and how it mounts to the bike.  What makes it so hard  for a thief to remove?  Is there a way to hide the device in the frame?
I've heard of thieves cutting through the frame rather than the lock and either selling the parts or disguising the frame damage with duct tape.  What's to stop the thief from ruining the frame to remove the device?
