Hi Everyone:

Hoping to recover an extremely tall (3XL frame / 24.5 in) 29er MTB from KHS. Black, with white and green decals, labeled "Designed by Lennard Zinn" & "Twenty Nine BNT" ("Big 'N' Tall"). Stolen March 4 at 2:39 am from a residential complex in Mountain View. It was locked with a Kryptonite U-lock to a spare tire bike carrier, which was cut in half.

Everything on this bike is geared towards a very tall person (6'7''+) with long legs (200 mm cranks; custom crankset that won't fit anywhere else), large feet (huge MTB pedals, largest on the market) & big hands (Deity Megattack grips, 36mm). The BNT 29 is by far the largest MTB steel frame that you can currently buy off the shelf without going custom. It is a niche bike and will be simply too tall for most people to ride.

If anyone sees it around the area, please get in touch with me. The frame geometry literally sticks out in bike racks. It would mean the world to me to recover this bike as tall people have a really hard time finding a bike that fits them.

It had a hidden AirTag on it, which was removed and is now in the sewer near Leghorn & San Antonio Rd, so it may have disappeared into Palo Alto.

I would be interested to hear where the latest trading places and chop shops in the Peninsula and South Bay are.

Thanks for reading -
Karsten
