I have on my system a copy of the Stoke Newington ... Appraisal, with the policies for Abney Park. At the final hearing on 17 MR it was conceded that the Appraisal was "relevant" but that "we" had decided to take the "broader view". That presumably meant the pressing social need for a school. No such consideration applies to Wilmer Place, obviously. We should see whether the Appraisal is mentioned in the Officers' Report, and if not somebody ought to bring it up. I doubt if many Councillors are even aware of the document.
