Hi Everyone,
I have written my letter but the number I put in which I got from the Stoky Local website ref 2012/2228
seems to come up as the last application.
Could you send me the number for the new one as I've got lost on the council website and/or a link so I can submit it.

Hi Everyone,
just thinking..shouldn't we update the website as I nearly sent in the wrong no..(thanks Jane!).I'm not sure now if all the information I got on the site is for this or the last application...I assume it would still apply anyway as they have not changed the application much..

yes, but I am not able to update the website
so it is better to send the email to the people you are talking too -
NOT to direct them to the out of date website
of course it would be better if the website was updated but give that we
are now passed the deadline for submitting responses it is a little academic
However if someone could update the site that would be good

I know you can't and I didn't realise it hadn't been updated...but we should sort it out...maybe Jamie is getting these emails and will do.thanks for doing the email and whoever else (John?) did too.
I will obviously not tell people to go on the website now..but for some shopkeepers they actually know about the website and may look on it..

Hi All
We have posters highlighting the campaign and telling people that the
development is coming back to committee for re-consideration at the end
of the month (31 July). We urgently need to get these displayed in shops
and cafes and community centres etc. John and I did the north end of the
high street (north of Church Street) but that's all.
We have left loads in Hamdy's for you to collect and distribute - it
would be really good if you could collect some to distribute - I have
just been down Church Street and there are none up there yet.
Any volunteers?
Also we should have leaflets for the Bug parade by tomorrow and we now
have 40 volunteers to distribute them door to door - again -more hands
make light work!
Also John and I will be putting up the big 8ft by 3ft banners we have
had made for the Bug Parade - so look out for these from this evening!

I thought it would be a good idea to do a costume-making get together to encourage promote the Bug Walk and help people make costumes.

HELP MAKE THE BUG WALK GO WITH A BUZZ!
On Saturday 20 July, volunteers at Abney Park are holding a costume-making fun day for all ages.
Drop in to the classroom at Abney Park and make your mask, headdress, or costume for the Stokey Local Bug Walk in protest against the Wilmer Pl development.
There'll be lots of materials and tools and ideas for what you can make.
Our 1-day summer music festival is on the same day, 20 July, so after you've made your mask, stroll down through the park and enjoy the wonderful music.

If you have any spare fabric, plastic bags etc, please take them to the Abney Park visitor centre (to the left as you go through the main gates) before 21 July.

Just a small correction to Jane's note. I am hoping to have the design for the leaflets by late afternoon today.
I will then need to get them printed (which inevitably takes two days). I therefore hope to have the leaflets by Friday (fingers crossed).
