Hi SAS :

Wow! I was checking over solar filters for my trip and was looking at the Sun through them to check for leaks. No scope or binos, just eyeballs through the filter. That sunspot group is HUGE and can be seen without a scope or binos.

The eclipse is about two weeks away, so this group will be on the opposite side of the Sun during the eclipse. Hopefully some other monster will be blessing us with activity at the eclipse.
