Clear Sky Chart shows it getting clear around 1600 today, but the seeing will suck. I’m on the fence about going tonight. I’ll try to make a decision between 1400 and 1600 today.

I’ll be adjusting my scope’s drive system and in the process suing a laptop computer. Do you want me to set up west of the usual spot, or is it ok to set up near the end of the road even though I’ll be making light pollution?

OK, thanks Jason, I’m going to try to get out there about 17:30, I’ll set up near the end of the road. If anybody else goes to Hwy 4 tonight, we’ll let the end of the road be the “bright” end where cameras and la[top screens will be happening, and the dark end for dark adaptation folks will be somewhat to the west of that. Just trying to keep the bright screens away from the dark gawkers.
