  Conditions were good to very good, not excellent. The objects were there for the viewing and easy to find as the guide stars were very visible. 
  The clear sky chart was accurate again! However I feel the “Seeing” grade it gave the site was a bit harsh. Like I mentioned, the object was there for the viewing and was very good at times, but the finer details were muted. 
  Next month will be good for the Lagoon, Triffid and Swan as they’ll be a bit higher. Although they did look good just not a lot of color. 
  I’d like to thank Paul, Chris, Grant, Carlos (?), Jules and William (the guy imaging the Milky Way). With all the imaging going on last night, I would hope to see some awesome plates 😉

It was a good first night back, about 8 people gawking at the heavens. Great to put some faces to names, a special thanks to Bill for helping me with a lack of planning on my part which led to the answering stupid questions on his part like what are the coordinates for Peddler Hill in degrees, minutes, seconds and what is the M number for the lagoon?  Speaking of the Lagoon that was the target for the night, the intention was 6 hours of exposure, 90 min of luminance, 90 min of hydrogen alpha, and 60 min each for red, green and blue.  Completed everything except for the blue channel, which got 16 mins only thanks to a tree that decided to place itself in the line of sight of the scope. Need to cut that sucker down next time but I could not identify the culprit by the image!  Had a few planes zip trough a couple of the subs but those are usually easy to get rid of. The attached image is the result. Keep in mind that this was taken through what Bill calls a finder scope! Hope to make it back up next month, better planned and ready -
