Hi SAS:

Tonight’s eclipse has been touted as the longer partial eclipse in 600 years. OK. Partial eclipses have a lot to be desired, and so this is the most drawn out miss in 600 years. But we might as well gawk at it anyways. Let’s face it, our last two eclipses here have been dreadful, but they’re better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick as they say.

The umbra contacts the Moon at 11:18 PM tonight and leaves the Moon at 2:47 AM tomorrow morning. The mid-eclipse, not quite total, occurs at 1:04 AM. Enjoy!
