Launch issue for stock portfolio manager

Downloaded app for Windows, updated Java. Tried launcher.jar, comes up with warning window “A java exception has occurred”. Tried launch.bat and get the DOS/Black window. Comes up with following 4 lines under Windows\:

·        Temporary Internet files\content.IE5\SGMCA06D>echo off

·        Temporary Internet files\content.IE5\SGMCA06D>set classpath=.;stockportfoliolauncher.jar 2>>launch.log

·        Temporary Internet files\content.IE5\SGMCA06D>java –jar stockportfoliolauncher.jar 2>>launch.log

·        Temporary Internet files\content.IE5\SGMCA06D>pause

·        Press any key to continue . . .

Hi,

Could you please send me the file "launch.log", it should contain the error you encountering. 

If the file is not present, it usually mean that your are executing the program with insufficient rights (unable to write on disk).

Hi,

I just realized you are executing it from your "temporary internet directory" (Temporary Internet files\content.IE5\SGMCA06D).

Try downloading and unzipping the archive to a directory where you normally would execute software (ie: ProgramFiles...)

My guess is you either don't have sufficient rights when executing under the temporary folder OR you are executing the tools directly from the archive..

I am not finding file launch.log.

Did find a launch file:

Mon 07/15/2013,  9:32:56.09

set classpath=.;StockPortfolioLauncher.jar

java -jar StockPortfolioLauncher.jar

Error: Unable to access jarfile StockPortfolioLauncher.jar
