not getting import to work

Hello,

Found your software, and am interested in using it, and modifying/extending it. Not sure if my changes would be of general use, but we'll see later.

I've constructed a .CSV file (attached) that I think exactly matches the Transaction Panel shown at http://code.google.com/p/stock-portfolio-manager/, but attempted Import yields nothing. The log file (attached) is quite clear about the problem -- but I don't know what to do about it. I've tried adding the security symbol, tweix, under SYMBOLS/WATCH LIST, but no help.

What am I missing?

Hi!

I tried you CSV and found the problem. You'll find the "working" version attached to this email.

The first thing the program looks for is the CSV header, in order to determine which field are at which position. So I added a header line in your CSV (Date, Symbol, Price...)

The other thing is commas in numbers are not supported. I don't believe this is a good thing, but it is what it is ;)
