#7-Daniel Suarez won the rain shortened Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The win is his first win of the year, first at Charlotte and third career win.
#20-Christopher Bell finished 2nd followed by #11-Denny Hamlin, pole sitter #45-Tyler Reddick, #5-Kyle Larson, #54-Ty Gibbs, #12-Ryan Blaney, #22-Joey Logano, #24-William Byron, and #38-Zane Smith.
The race was called with 373 of the 400 scheduled laps complete. The end of the race was marred by a caution for lightning and a couple other cautions for light rain. Suarez took only two tires during the final pit stops to get out front and held the lead the rest of the way. During the final caution, rain picked up heavily. Due the the late hour and the fact it would take at least 90 minutes to dry the track, the remainder of the race was cancelled.
Stage 1 was won by #5-Kyle Larson. Stage 2 was won by #11-Denny Hamlin. #20-Christopher Bell won stage 3.
The fastest lap bonus a earned by #54-Ty Gibbs.
There were 32 lead changes among 13 drivers and 12 cautions for 75 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 119.921mph.

#34-Layne Riggs won the postponed NC Education Lottery 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday. The win is his first at Charlotte, second of the season, and the seventh truck win of his career.
Following his win, Riggs climbed from his ace truck, and in tribute of the late Kyle Busch, bowed to the crowd.
#11-Kaden Honeycutt was second, followed by #77-Connor Zilisch, #99-Ben Rhodes, #17-Giovanni Ruggiero, stage one winner #91-Christian Eckes, #1-Brandon Jones, #15-Tanner Gray, #4-Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., and #5-William Sawalich in the top-10.
#7-Corey Day started from the pole after rain forced the cancellation of practice and qualifying. The field was set based on the rulebook. Kyle Busch, who passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, won in the #7 Chevrolet when the series raced last at Dover Motor Speedway. He was originally scheduled to drive the #7 at Charlotte. Day, who led only the opening lap, saw his day end early on lap 46. After slight contact from #17-Gio Ruggiero, Day’s #7 slid down track before going airborne and slamming the inside retaining wall. He was seen and released from the care center.
With the Coca Cola 600 scheduled for later today and the grandstands needing to be swept beforehand, NASCAR announced a race end time of noon. A caution flag waved on lap 107, 3 minutes from the finish, for an incident involving #38-Chandler Smith.
The race ended under yellow.
Riggs, who also won stage two, led 52 of the completed 110 laps.
There were 18 lead changes among nine drivers and 11 caution flags for 53 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 83.993mph.
