#11-Kaden Honeycutt took the lead following an overtime restart to claim the win in the Bully Hill Vineyards 176 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Watkins Glen International. The win was the first of his career.
Honeycutt took the lead from #71-Connor Zilisch after the overtime restart and pulled away unchallenged. Up to that point, Zilisch had led the most laps of the day with 28 out front. Honeycutt led the most important one.
#4-Shane VanGisbergen was third, followed by #19-Daniel Hemric, #38-Chandler Smith, #25-AJ Allmendinger, pole-sitter, #1-Brent Crews, #14-Mini Tyrrell, #12-Brenden Queen, and #16-Justin Haley were the remainder of the top-10.
There were 10 lead changes among six drivers and six caution flags for 15 yellow flag laps.

Ryan Blaney signs multiyear extension with Team Penske (NASCAR Cup)
When you have a driver running as well as Ryan Blaney, you don’t let him go.
Team Penske knows that better than any organization. So when the opportunity arose, it locked its star driver down.
Years removed from the part-time deal that allowed him to prove himself in Penske equipment, Blaney and the team announced Wednesday that the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion has signed a multiyear contract extension to stay in the No. 12 Ford. His anchor sponsor, Menards, will also continue on with the new deal.
“Roger’s commitment to me and my career has been something a race-car driver could only dream of — not only getting the opportunity in the first place, but sticking with me through the highs and lows for more than a decade,” Blaney said in a team release. “To still be a part of Team Penske — the wins, the championships, the people — and continuing to grow my career with the unwavering support of Roger and the entire organization has been the opportunity of a lifetime.
“We’re going to keep pushing to deliver more wins and championships, and to do that with the support of John Menard and the Menard family is truly an honor.”
The son of dirt standout and Cup veteran Dave Blaney, Ryan arrived at the Cup level full-time with Wood Brothers Racing in 2016 and secured his first premier series win for the historic team at Pocono Raceway the following year before moving up to Penske in 2018.
In the years since, Blaney has steadily emerged as one of the modern Cup Series’ top stars. He’s won races in nine of the past 10 season, including three or more victories in four of five years entering 2026. The 32-year-old has become a consistent threat for wins and top-fives, frequently making deep runs in the playoff format that preceded this year’s return to the Chase.
Along the way, Blaney’s blossomed into a fan-favorite with his unique personality and facial hair - once a nonstarter at the polished Team Penske. Blaney’s become known for hard, clean driving while being both the quintessential teammate to three-time champion Joey Logano and a driver capable of beating Penske’s veteran driver in clutch moments.
Simply put, Blaney’s one of modern NASCAR’s best drivers - and Roger Penske knows better than anyone how to hold onto them.
“Ryan Blaney has developed into one of the elite drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series, and the success he’s achieved speaks for itself,” Roger Penske said in a team release. “I’m confident Ryan and the No. 12 team will continue to build momentum into the future, especially positioned alongside a committed partner like Menards who’s been instrumental to our team for more than a decade.”

Ryan Preece penalized for Texas crash with Ty Gibbs (NASCAR Cup)
After a weekend noted for two controversial moments at Texas Motor Speedway, NASCAR unveiled its hotly-anticipated penalty report on Tuesday.
Ryan Preece fans, you might want to look away.
Preece was docked 25 points and fined $50,000 after crashing Ty Gibbs in a move he foreshadowed to his team during Sunday’s race. The accident occurred during Stage 1, when an upset Preece sent Gibbs into the turn 3 wall after being upset by an early battle with the young star into turn 1.
The RFK Racing star had warned his No. 60 team of the impending accident beforehand, saying he was “done with” Gibbs. He tried to defend his move in an appearance on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, saying he was “very close (to being) clear” and that he “could life, but I didn’t” because he “was not going to cut him a break.”
RFK Racing confirmed Thursday that it plans to appeal the penalties. A team statement read:
“RFK Racing has decided to appeal the penalties by NASCAR against Ryan Preece. We appreciate the opportunity to share our findings with the National Motorsports Appeals Panel at the appropriate time. Additionally, our organization respectfully embraces the forum provided by NASCAR to present our case.”
It’ll hope desperately to win that appeal. Preece has joined teammates Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski in showing pace early in 2026, with Preece claiming the year-opening Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium and all three drivers sitting in the provisional Chase field. But Preece was also last among the trio in 12th and has now dropped to 13th, 38 points above the playoff cutline.
More fortunate in the penalty report was Kyle Busch, who dodged repercussions for his intentional run-in with John Hunter Nemechek. On its face during the race, Busch’s crash seemed the more egregious of the two incidents. But perhaps Preece telegraphing his decision made all the difference.

Blaney’s won in each of the past four seasons - 2026 included - with 11 victories along the way. Blaney’s finished top-two in points twice, came home sixth last year and sits fourth in the 2026 standings heading to Watkins Glen.

#11-Kaden Honeycutt took the lead following an overtime restart to claim the win in the Bully Hill Vineyards 176 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Watkins Glen International. The win was the first of his career.
Honeycutt took the lead from #71-Connor Zilisch after the overtime restart and pulled away unchallenged. Up to that point, Zilisch had led the most laps of the day with 28 out front. Honeycutt led the most important one.
#4-Shane VanGisbergen was third, followed by #19-Daniel Hemric, #38-Chandler Smith, #25-AJ Allmendinger, pole-sitter, #1-Brent Crews, #14-Mini Tyrrell, #12-Brenden Queen, and #16-Justin Haley were the remainder of the top-10.
There were 10 lead changes among six drivers and six caution flags for 15 yellow flag laps.

Ryan Blaney signs multiyear extension with Team Penske (NASCAR Cup)
When you have a driver running as well as Ryan Blaney, you don’t let him go.
Team Penske knows that better than any organization. So when the opportunity arose, it locked its star driver down.
Years removed from the part-time deal that allowed him to prove himself in Penske equipment, Blaney and the team announced Wednesday that the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion has signed a multiyear contract extension to stay in the No. 12 Ford. His anchor sponsor, Menards, will also continue on with the new deal.
“Roger’s commitment to me and my career has been something a race-car driver could only dream of — not only getting the opportunity in the first place, but sticking with me through the highs and lows for more than a decade,” Blaney said in a team release. “To still be a part of Team Penske — the wins, the championships, the people — and continuing to grow my career with the unwavering support of Roger and the entire organization has been the opportunity of a lifetime.
“We’re going to keep pushing to deliver more wins and championships, and to do that with the support of John Menard and the Menard family is truly an honor.”
The son of dirt standout and Cup veteran Dave Blaney, Ryan arrived at the Cup level full-time with Wood Brothers Racing in 2016 and secured his first premier series win for the historic team at Pocono Raceway the following year before moving up to Penske in 2018.
In the years since, Blaney has steadily emerged as one of the modern Cup Series’ top stars. He’s won races in nine of the past 10 season, including three or more victories in four of five years entering 2026. The 32-year-old has become a consistent threat for wins and top-fives, frequently making deep runs in the playoff format that preceded this year’s return to the Chase.
Along the way, Blaney’s blossomed into a fan-favorite with his unique personality and facial hair - once a nonstarter at the polished Team Penske. Blaney’s become known for hard, clean driving while being both the quintessential teammate to three-time champion Joey Logano and a driver capable of beating Penske’s veteran driver in clutch moments.
Simply put, Blaney’s one of modern NASCAR’s best drivers - and Roger Penske knows better than anyone how to hold onto them.
“Ryan Blaney has developed into one of the elite drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series, and the success he’s achieved speaks for itself,” Roger Penske said in a team release. “I’m confident Ryan and the No. 12 team will continue to build momentum into the future, especially positioned alongside a committed partner like Menards who’s been instrumental to our team for more than a decade.”

Ryan Preece penalized for Texas crash with Ty Gibbs (NASCAR Cup)
After a weekend noted for two controversial moments at Texas Motor Speedway, NASCAR unveiled its hotly-anticipated penalty report on Tuesday.
Ryan Preece fans, you might want to look away.
Preece was docked 25 points and fined $50,000 after crashing Ty Gibbs in a move he foreshadowed to his team during Sunday’s race. The accident occurred during Stage 1, when an upset Preece sent Gibbs into the turn 3 wall after being upset by an early battle with the young star into turn 1.
The RFK Racing star had warned his No. 60 team of the impending accident beforehand, saying he was “done with” Gibbs. He tried to defend his move in an appearance on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, saying he was “very close (to being) clear” and that he “could life, but I didn’t” because he “was not going to cut him a break.”
RFK Racing confirmed Thursday that it plans to appeal the penalties. A team statement read:
“RFK Racing has decided to appeal the penalties by NASCAR against Ryan Preece. We appreciate the opportunity to share our findings with the National Motorsports Appeals Panel at the appropriate time. Additionally, our organization respectfully embraces the forum provided by NASCAR to present our case.”
It’ll hope desperately to win that appeal. Preece has joined teammates Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski in showing pace early in 2026, with Preece claiming the year-opening Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium and all three drivers sitting in the provisional Chase field. But Preece was also last among the trio in 12th and has now dropped to 13th, 38 points above the playoff cutline.
More fortunate in the penalty report was Kyle Busch, who dodged repercussions for his intentional run-in with John Hunter Nemechek. On its face during the race, Busch’s crash seemed the more egregious of the two incidents. But perhaps Preece telegraphing his decision made all the difference.

Blaney’s won in each of the past four seasons - 2026 included - with 11 victories along the way.
