You can of course buy the survey corps cape online, there are dozens for sale for reasonable and unreasonable prices if you look around, but I wanted to make my own so here we go! Disclaimer: my drawings are not scale accurate. Cause son, aint no body got time for that.Begin with 2 meters of fabric in the colour of your choice. Fold your fabric in half and mark with pins or chalk the measurements to cut out the circle.

Do the same for your lining and iron the seams open for both. This will make it easier when you sew the two hoods together good side to good side along the opening of the hood. Which you are ready to do now! Next we attach the hood to cape. Begin by pining the center back of the hood to the center of the neck on the cape and work your way out from there.

Attack On Titan features many characters with distinct individual strengths and weaknesses. Many characters in the series don't showcase desires to back down from a fight, despite the odds against them.

Many of these characters' skills hailed from their early Survey Corps training days, despite the loss ratio this organization had. Although some of these members have grown over the years, they realized firsthand what harsh realities and perks they received as Survey Corps operatives.

Although there are many things about the survey corps that don't make sense, fans did witness their beloved characters endure some harsh training sessions. For instance, during the anime's third episode, fans saw Sasha Blouse get scolded and punished for stealing a potato and eating it in front of their 104th Cadet Corps Commander, Keith Sadies.

Although Sasha took her punishment like a champ, it shows how serious their commanding officer was toward them during their earlier years. On the other hand, cadets like Eren, who suffered many failures at handling the omnidirectional mobility gear, were able to master it, showcasing how important the training camp was for their progression as adamant soldiers.

Despite the Survey Corps establishing weird rules for their members to follow, there doesn't seem to be a requirement people have to meet to join. Considering the Survey Dorps death ratio is high, requirements to participate in the Survey Corps may not have been set in stone considering most members are used as pawns to distract Titans.

Although there's no requirement to join the Corps, many people tend to drop out since their survival isn't guaranteed, considering their tasks will sometimes require them to fend off one or two Titans at most.

Although the Survey Corps members risk their lives for their nation's citizens, many citizens and higher-ups in the Attack On Titan universe downplay their achievements because of their many failures. On that note, Miltary Police members and wealthy bureaucrats in the world find their services to be a waste of money.

Despite the hate they receive, King Fritz supported their cause and protected the Survey Corps from snobby bureaucrats and conservatives who wished to do them in. Although Fritz was a substitute for Rod Reiss (a character who should have died sooner in the series), he gets replaced by Historia Reiss.

Although the Survey Corps members don't receive profit from their victories, they attain some ounce of glory from an internal perspective. Internally, surviving a mission and not ending up like other characters who've had disturbing deaths in Attack On Titan is the only satisfaction Survey Corps members receive outside of saving humanity.

Considering how short humans are compared to their Titan enemies, gaining a victory over monstrous creatures like them will boast anyone's emotional spirit. Not only that, but despite having an immense loss ratio, many of the Survey Corps members, like Levi and Mikasa, have managed to slay more Titans than most of their higher-ups.

Erwin Smith is one of Attack On Titan's best leaders and always was honest with his troops even if his words rubbed them the wrong way. From his charge against the Beast Titan to his later demise, he wasn't oblivious to death and knew that one day he'd fall in battle.

Considering that death was always lurking behind every Survey Corps member's mind, it would've been possible that many members felt they wouldn't ever see their loved ones again. It's a challenging reality many members have to face since their lives would get taken away from them from one swing of a Titan's fist.

Despite Ilse Langar having one of the most shocking deaths in Attack On Titan history, the scene between her and the abnormal Titan highlighted an intriguing bit of information some fans didn't expect at the time. This OVA introduced some fans to an abnormal Titan who could speak proper English to a human being.

Considering Ilse's Survey Corps member status, this shows how these operatives often attain information about Titans faster than others, including people of the Miltary Police. Hanje Zoe's character is proof of such a concept as she was always eager to learn more about Titans, even though her methods were creepy sometimes.

Although Attack On Titan has many skilled corps members that can hold their own in a fight, others tend to rely on others to get them out of a sticky situation. Depending on backup is a strategy many Survey Corps members rely on, considering they're battling beasts twice their size.

One such instance could be seen in the first episode when Hannes leaves Eren's mother behind and flees from fighting the Smiling Titan. Although many fans would say it was a cowardly move on Hannes's part, it showcases the burdens Corps members go through when up against challenging situations.

Despite the position being a job that's open for everyone to participate in, citizens in the Attack On Titan universe obtain a general idea of what they'll be joining if they wish to become Survey Corps members.

Whether citizens hear about the Survey Corps losses or victories from other locals or elsewhere, they won't be deceived or forced to join the ranks. Mostly, joining the Survey Corps boils down to whether or not people have what it takes to fight Titans with a one-hundred percent chance of not returning from their expedition alive.

Regardless if someone joins the Survey Corps to gain notoriety for their Titan slaying skills or for other personal motivations, their mission will always be to protect humanity at all cost. Despite the slander they may receive from failing missions or coming back with saddening news, dying for one's people is something many Survey Corps members stand by.

This meaning is emphasized superbly in some of Attack On Titan's character dialogue, motivations, and backstories where loved ones perished because of the Titans. Despite some notable characters dying toward the end of the series, some make sure to perform one final act of bravery beforehand.

Although some characters in the Attack On Titan universe didn't see eye to eye with each other during the series's beginning, in time, these people learned to work together to take down powerful opponents. Two worth noting are Eren Yeager and Levi Ackerman.

Although these two had bad blood in the past and got into a brutal fistfight early on in the series, both characters learn to respect each other's strengths and weaknesses. Levi learned to hear Eren's plans out, while Eren learned to respect Levi and follow his orders regardless of his past scuffles with Levi.
