I am done with setting aside one night a week of my life for block watch walks to end up being the sole fool to show up. I spent a lot of previous several years prior being the only one to show up.

There's a lot of other stuff I can do for the community that is a hell of a lot more fun, rewarding, and productive than waiting around for people to not show up week after week.

I still intend on helping the CDC when they need it doing the community outreach programs. Now that the weather is nice I'll be stocking the little free libraries more often. I'll still be at pretty much anything where there's a shout out for volunteers. I would still like to see something like ActionRocks happen. Maybe if I spend less time wasting my time I can get more things done elsewhere.
