First walk

The first walk will be next Thursday, May 5th at 6 pm. Meet in the lot at the new 5 Generations bakery (the old Bottom Dollar and older Foodland) on Chartiers at Amelia. We would like to be more coordinated this year, working the towns in some geographic order as we will be assisting the CDC as needed to do community outreach as well. Rather than walking to cover area, we will be in neighborhoods talking to people, connecting with them, answering questions about the communities.

The goal is to  engage more people in the community, which we can only do by reaching out to as many people as we can.

The weather's not looking promising. Is anyone planning on coming irrespective of the weather?

Actually, looking at the weather a little more closely, it looks like we could still get thunderstorms, and I'm not keen to be out and about in those.

Let's try for next Thursday at 6, 5 Generations lot.

And don't forget Tuesday night is the respective borough council meetings.
