Space Still Available for Free Swimming Lessons at Boyce & Settlers Cabin Parks North Park Swimming Pool Offering Red Cross Intermediate & Advanced Swimming Lessons

 

 

PITTSBURGH – The Allegheny County Parks Department today announced that space is still available for its annual free swimming lessons for ages 5 and older at Boyce Park Wave Pool and Settlers Cabin Wave Pool. Lessons will take place 10:15-11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning July 5 and ending July 28. All lessons are taught by Allegheny County lifeguards. Pre-registration is required at www.alleghenycounty.us/parkprograms. For questions or additional information, call Boyce Park Wave Pool at 724-325-4667 or Settlers Cabin Park Wave Pool at 412-787-2667.   North Park Swimming Pool is offering intermediate and advanced swimming lessons for ages 6 and older taught by an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Classes will meet 10:00-10:45 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning July 5 and ending July 28. Participants will be grouped by skill level. The cost for intermediate and advanced lessons is $20 per person for county residents and $25 per person for non-residents. Pre-registration is required at www.alleghenycounty.us/parkprograms.
