June Meeting

The June Meeting will be on Monday, June 17th, 7 p.m, in the McKees Rocks borough building. I've already booked the room with the Mayor's office.

I haven't lined up any speakers at this point, I probably will not due to short notice. I am going to invite usual crowd of police officials from both the Rocks and Stowe. I foresee this as a re-organizational/inspirational/cheerleading meeting.

The picnic is still tentatively scheduled for August 10th. I don't know if anyone has worked on it, I haven't heard. I would like to still see something happen, even if it's not quite the event we've had in years past. I think the focus last year landed on "Free Food" and not much block watch or community events. Any ideas will be greatly welcomed.

i was just at the park. i could not get near it. what event was going on there? should we still go there?

Attached is the flyer for the meeting.

If anyone has the facility to print off some and post them around your areas of town, please do. I'm going to print some off and try to get to some of the businesses along Broadway and Chartiers.

Also, please reach out to your neighbors. People don't have to be "net-centric" to participate.
